2 years...

I found myself saying the age old term, wow how time flies, I can't believe Lynzee is really 2 years old! Lynzee has come so far from when she was first born, to when she rolled over, starting walking, talking, and chasing her puppy. It makes me think, all this is two years, I can't imagine all the new adventures the next 10 will bring.

Lynzee - 1.5 years old - Moments to remember

Wow - 1 and 1/2 years old, time has gone by and Lynzee changes daily, so much to say - so just a few highlights: Lynzee is learning sign language in school. Two months ago she started "saying" please and more, which is much to her advantage as who can resist a little voice say peese with the hand motion to follow. Just this weekend she has started saying thank you, on her own, without being prompted. Again when a 1.5 year old thanks you, all is forgiven. She is learning how to work it. She is also learning to point things out and item recognition.

Food Network Debut: Does the cake Jordan helps create win?

Weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Crouse

We just got back from Basin, WY. We had a good time and Lynzee really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Aunt Emily and Uncle Sam - they have lots of fun toys! We saw the horses, and Lynzee was trying to find the quickest way to go get them. We went up to the cabin and went on a hike, it is beautiful up there. We also went to the Cody museum. They have a fun, interactive, section for the kids. Lots of things to touch, watch, and see. Lynzee enjoyed the big animals, the otter (of course) and the the touchy feely stuff.

Lynzee - weekend with Grandma and Grandpa

Jordan and I went to Breckenridge for the weekend, we had a relaxing time. Grandma and Grandpa came to CO to watch Lynzee. They of course spoiled her to death. They went to the aquarium, her favorite was the parrots, she laughed and imitated them. She saw lots of fish. She grabbed a stuffed otter in the gift shop and wouldn't let go, she has been toting that thing around everywhere, it is pretty cute. She hasn't ever really been attached to anything - so this is new. They also went shopping - Grandma went crazy.

Lynzee - haircut

Lynzee had her first haircut today. We went to KidsCuts. She got to sit in a fire engine, ring the bell, and watch Blue Clues. Just a few snips to even things out, but now her hair won't hang in her eyes :)

Lynzee IS WALKING! 14.5 month old

Lynzee is walking! She went from taking a couple of steps this morning to getting up on her own and walking the length of the room this evening. We are very excited and she is pretty proud of herself as well :) We took video and pics, so I will post soon. Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!

To the Zoo

Lynzee went to the Denver Zoo for her first zoo adventure. She enjoyed watching all of the animals, but her favorites included the monkeys, birds, arctic fox, otters, and penguins. Check out our pictures...

Chocolate - revisited

I think the verdict is in - Lynzee does not like chocolate. We went to PF Cheng's for dinner on Saturday night. She ate everything that Grandpa Crouse had on his plate: salmon, noodles, rice...then we had dessert and she got ice cream (because she is spoiled) and some of Grandpa Hanson's apple pie. We then fed her some of the chocolate cake and she spit it out in disgust. She didn't want anything to do with it. Who knew?...

Lynzee is ONE!

WOW! Can you believe it has been 1 year?
