It is that time of year - I love it! We are going to SL for the celebration, and I am excited to see everyone. My shopping is done and everything is wrapped. Diogee is coming with us, the car ride should be a new experience, but he is ready. Santa just came to the neighborhood. He comes every year with the fire department and all the bells and whistles. It is fun to see everyone come out of their house and meet Santa. Well if I don't talk to you before, have a fantastic Christmas and best wishes for the new year!

Hello to everybody! Hope you all had a wonderful Turkey Day! We had a great time and a full house - my parents, brother, 2 cousins, and 2 dogs, plus the normal household :) We had a great Turkey diner, surrounded by looking through black Friday ads. And yes, we were at Kohl's Friday morning at 4:15 AM. What can I say, me and my mom just can't resist, and then we go and drag everyone else with us. There are a few new pictures groups on the site. Vegas - what and absolutely fantastic time!!! Thanksgiving - family fun. The Diogee puppy - can I just say that he is the cutest thing ever!

It goes by many names - the day after Thanksgiving, the "Oh my God, I can't believe I ate an entire turkey" day, or quite simply, "You want me to stand in line at Target at 3:00 in the morning for what???". The retail industry calls it Black Friday, because thats typically the day of the year that most retails stores profits go into the black (except of course Walmart, who is immediately profitable thanks to their total salary of $100 per store and their utter humiliation of vendors and the elderly). My wife and her family spend all Thanksgiving going over the ads, plotting out their battle plan, and then wake up well before the crack of dawn to stand in line and fight a lady over the last Dora The Explorer doll. In the mean time, I wake up around 9, watch some TV, do my shopping on the internet, and I'm still done before they straggle in. This year, though, they're going to be prepared....
