Does she have hair
Submitted by Jordan on January 30, 2008 - 4:34pm.The nurse came in to check the cervix, and said "wow - I can see the head". Of course, Stacee asked the only obvious question at this point.... "Does she have hair?". Answer is - not much. :)

Still waiting
Submitted by Jordan on January 30, 2008 - 4:14pm.We are waiting for the doctor. After having trouble finding the heartbeat, we finally inserted an in-utero heartbeat monitor. The difference between that and the doppler is like the difference between regular TV and HDTV. Stacee is feeling a little bit more pressure now.

Water broken

Quiet time
Submitted by Jordan on January 30, 2008 - 1:36pm.Its quiet time right now - we're trying to get enough fluids in Stacee, and we have plenty of time, so we're letting the labor proceed at its own pace. The epidural is helping, and at least Stacee can set some sleep before the final push.

Here we go!
Submitted by Jordan on January 30, 2008 - 11:22am.I guess we didn't make it to the 6th!! Stacee was feeling cramps all night long, and this morning she started having compressions. We came to the doctor about 8:50 and they immmediately sent us over to the birthing center. It is now 11:30 and she finally got her epidural, so she is feeling much better now then she was about an hour ago. She is 4cm dilated, so now we're just waiting for everything to progress to the birth.
